North Carolina Attorney Disclosure

Your lender has retained the services of the law firm of Cook & James, LLC to perform the title search of your property and provide an attorney opinion on that title as required by North Carolina state law. During your closing, Cook & James will also represent both you and your lender to ensure compliance. You can find a full disclosure letter from Cook & James outlining their role in your transaction below.

As stated in the letter, you have the option to select your own closing attorney if you do not wish to use the services of Cook & James. If you choose to do so, please contact them at 678-916-5101, option 2, as requested in the letter below. Otherwise, no action is required from you.
